Truth! Running through Bradley International at LAX last March from security to make my flight to Iceland due to our airport bus being over an hour late stuck in traffic was a great reminder how running with your 26 L carry on bag in snow pants, down winter jacket and untied hiking boots was a great test of my cardio conditioning. Also, definitely tie your boot laces before attempting any walking, jogging or running of any kind! I face planted hard rounding a corner when one lace caught a speedlace on the other shoe. This HIIT is lit 🔥 aaaand all of These moves target the 🍑 👉🏼Wide stance bench curtesy lunges. Stay low on the bench and drop into those lunges. 👉🏼Bench side squat into side extension. Power through the heel on top of the bench. 👉🏼Up & over. High intensity to keep it super dynamic. Perform each move at maximum effort for 30 seconds. Rest 10 sec in between. 4 rounds is just over 10 mins. Try it! I have an interval timer app on my phone to keep me on target. HIIT is an excellent fat burner! I was feeling a bit crummy earlier in the week - like my body was fighting something. So I took a couple of days without a workout or run and just drank TONS of water and focused on good nutrition to feed my body and today was back to feeling like me! I’ve got a love/hate relationship with my stationary bike. Never been a big fan of cardio (especially indoors, I actually like bike rides outside!), but I’ve started incorporating it 2-3 times a week along side weight training. And while I really have to push myself through the 30 min sessions, I love the sense of accomplishment I get afterwards. Hoping that it will speed up my fat loss and allow these muscle gains to show a little more 💪🏼
